Job Title: Advanced Practitioner Providers

Umanist Staffing LLC is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practitioner Providers to join our team. As a key member of our workforce management team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch healthcare services to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Advanced Practitioner Providers will work closely with our clients to provide medical care, health education, and wellness programs to their employees. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of our clients' employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage and treat minor work-related and non-work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Dispense over-the-counter and prescription medications as needed.
  • Provide on-site specimen/lab collection for employees.
  • Perform COVID testing and report results.
  • Conduct urine drug screening and breath alcohol testing.
  • Provide on-site assessment for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia, and hypoglycemia.
  • Support and case manage work-related and non-work-related conditions.
  • Coordinate second opinions for employees absent due to workers' compensation or disability.
  • Coordinate annual seasonal influenza vaccination program.
  • Deliver monthly health education seminars and general wellness events.
  • Provide referrals for employees who need primary care physician or specialist attention.
  • Perform on-site physical assessments as required.
  • Provide patient education regarding illnesses, medications, treatments, etc.
  • Work collaboratively with patients and their PCP/Specialist to facilitate early diagnosis and management of acute and chronic health problems.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Registered/licensed by the State of Pennsylvania Board of Physicians.
  • National Board Certification.
  • Minimum twelve months of related experience (adult medicine).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Occupational Medicine, Workers' Compensation, and DOT exams.
Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Analytical ability necessary to evaluate and determine the health status of the patient and implement proper care.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, teach, and counsel patients and interact with clients/employers.
  • A comprehensive understanding of outpatient adult medicine, patient care procedures, medical protocols, and testing procedures is necessary.
