Position: Quantitative Developer (Python)

Essential Qualifications

  • Proficient in Python programming
  • Experience with database querying
  • Knowledge in Risk Management:
  • Portfolio Risk analysis
  • Understanding of Portfolio Value at Risk (VaR) including parametric and conditional methods, as well as Monte Carlo simulations (MCVaR)
  • Ability to conduct scenario-based portfolio Profit and Loss assessments
  • Familiarity with MSCI-Barraone and/or Bloomberg risk assessment tools is advantageous
  • Full Stack development experience with a focus on Python
  • Competence in data manipulation using pandas is essential
  • Experience with unit testing in Python is required
  • Knowledge of applications used in financial markets is beneficial
  • Background in portfolio risk and analytics
  • Experience with financial data sources such as Barraone, Bloomberg, or FactSet
