Job Title: Head of Merchandising

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute category strategies to maximize sales and profit
  • Analyze promotional strategies and leverage product/consumer trends to support business objectives
  • Lead a team to build and manage a consumer-driven business, fostering a culture of collaboration across the organization
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth and improve results
  • Ensure all merchandising operations align with defined category management principles, developing processes and audit mechanisms as needed
Requirements:
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience, MBA a plus
  • 10+ years experience in multi-category management in merchandise buying
  • Retail industry and project management experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to think strategically, plan, implement, lead, and manage
  • Proven ability to negotiate and/or influence vendors or leaders for outcomes that are productive and beneficial both short and long term
