Black Bear Diner is seeking a highly organized and efficient Dishwasher/Busperson to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our dishes and small wares. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in maintaining our high standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a commercial dish machine and manage the use of chemicals for cleaning and sanitizing
* Re-stock and move efficiently between active cook lines and serving lines
* Clean, maintain, and stock restrooms, dining rooms, and exterior areas of the restaurant
* Complete cleaning and organizing duties accurately and on time
* Clear tables, sanitize surfaces, and sort plates, glasses, and silverware
* Ensure proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safety

Requirements:

* Strong work ethic and reliability

* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
