Key Responsibilities:
You will be tasked with receiving, processing, packaging, and dispatching blood products and samples for hospital requests.
Your duties will include prioritizing orders based on urgency, selecting and meticulously packaging life-saving blood products with appropriate temperature control materials to ensure safe delivery.
You will liaise with hospital clients, volunteers, and suppliers, while maintaining product records to ensure traceability.As a member of the Red Cross team, you will support your colleagues by attending every shift and giving your utmost effort.
Engage positively, proactively, and with a customer-centric approach with both internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating care and compassion consistently.
Where Your Career Makes a Difference:
- Ensure products and samples are ready for distribution while achieving production targets.
- Implement effective inventory management practices throughout the manufacturing and shipping processes.
- Prioritize tasks to meet production and customer needs.
- Conduct data entry related to manufacturing, labeling, storage, ordering, and shipping; maintain and review accurate physical and electronic manufacturing records.
- Analyze and make decisions based on visual inspections and information from other departments to meet timeframes and quality standards.
- Identify and isolate products or samples that do not meet quality standards and manage the disposition of unacceptable items.
- May be required to make deliveries to hospitals as assigned.

Compensation:
$18 per hour, with an additional $2.25 per hour for hours worked between 2 AM and 7 AM.
