About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their goals and regain independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' strengths and weaknesses to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide personalized care and support.
  • Utilize a range of techniques, including functional training, neurological interventions, and musculoskeletal interventions, to help patients achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their support systems to promote independence and self-management.
  • Work closely with support staff, including COTAs and OT aides, to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the relevant state (NY, NJ).
  • Valid CPR license.
  • Experience with EMR software preferred.
  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills.
  • At least one year of professional OT experience.
