Filler Operator

Lassonde Pappas & Co. Inc is a leading beverage manufacturing company dedicated to delivering exceptional products to our customers. We are seeking a skilled Filler Operator to join our production team in California.

• Operate and maintain the filler and support equipment to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
• Monitor and control temperature, product flow rates, and fill-tank levels to meet specifications and standards.
• Perform product quality checks, including CQP and CCP monitoring requirements, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in product and package changeovers, and maintain a clean work area to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
• Collaborate with the production team to resolve food safety and quality issues, and empower employees to work with supervision to resolve these issues.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience in a manufacturing environment operating production equipment.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to direct, coach, and train others, with consultative, influential, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

This position requires sufficient physical ability to work in a production setting, with frequent standing, walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, and pushing/pulling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional squatting, kneeling, and reaching above and at shoulder height. Exposure to wet and humid conditions, fluctuations in ambient temperature, and potential exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals.

Ability to use close and distance vision, as well as color and peripheral vision, with or without correction. Must be able to visually detect obstacles and potential dangers in a fast-paced production environment involving high-speed equipment and powered industrial lift equipment.

Ability to hear in the normal audio range, with exposure to noise levels from pumps, machinery, forklift traffic, bottle lines, and exhaust fans.
