Nurse Specialist

Mass General Brigham is currently seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Job SummaryThis 24-hour per week, night shift position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and providing direct patient care services. Additionally, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide direct patient care services, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between shifts
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and plan care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to ensure continuity of care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical/telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
