Electrician Apprentice Program

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Electrician Apprentice Program at AT Electricians JAC of Ithaca LU #241. As an apprentice electrician, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a licensed electrician.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with one year of Elementary Algebra or Math I
  • Must be physically able to perform the work required
  • Must pass a drug/alcohol screening
  • Must be able to climb and work from ladders, scaffolds, poles, or towers of various lengths and heights
  • Must be willing and able to commute to any jobsite within the geographical jurisdiction of Local #241
  • Must have reliable transportation to and willing to commute to any job site within the unions geographic area
  • Must have been employed or be a resident of Local #241 jurisdiction for one (1) year prior to recruitment
  • Must have reliable transportation to attend all related classroom training, as required
