Phlebotomy Specialist for Diagnostic Care

At Sonora Quest, we are seeking skilled Phlebotomy Specialists to join our team in providing excellent patient diagnostic care. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional healthcare services.
About the RoleThis Phlebotomy Specialist position will work with all patient ages on various hospital floors and involve extensive walking and specimen collection in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting and receiving biological specimens, entering data into our computer system, preparing samples for analytical testing, and distributing specimens to the appropriate analytical area.
You will also perform specified analytical testing as assigned and follow established policies, procedures, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to progress through our career ladder (II-IV) upon completion of specific requirements.
Requirements- High School diploma or equivalent may be required depending on state regulations.
- Completion of a phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience is essential.
- Possession of a valid state driver's license in the state of employment and eligibility for coverage under our company auto insurance policy may be required.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
