Overview:

The Lead Agile Facilitator collaborates closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and drive the delivery of project capabilities by eliminating obstacles, facilitating team interactions, and nurturing a high-performance environment.

This role oversees a continuous workflow within the team.
The Lead Agile Facilitator champions, adopts, and mentors the team on lean, agile, and scrum methodologies.
Engage in complex, critical projects while operating with minimal oversight and exercising considerable independent judgment.
Responsible for the successful completion of assigned tasks and milestones.
Acts as an individual contributor and a mentor to junior personnel. Highly skilled and proficient in the discipline, regarded as a senior-level position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate the qualities of a Lean-Agile Leader through mindset; assist the team in embracing core values, adopting and applying principles, and implementing practices.
  • Uphold the team's Scrum rules, remove barriers, and lead efforts for continuous improvement and enhanced efficiency.
  • Ensure that the technology and service delivery roadmap align with the solution strategy and are sustainable to meet the needs of various solutions being delivered.
  • Facilitate the team's progress towards objectives; utilizing current Program Increment (PI) Objectives as Iteration Goals.
  • Ensure that goals, scope, and product backlog items are comprehended and can be executed by team members.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and developers to identify and clarify the scope of issues in terms of business and systems requirements.
  • Support the team's initiatives to enhance communication and relationships with other delivery teams; represent the team in the Scrum of Scrums (SoS), ensuring awareness of engagement opportunities and program effectiveness.
  • Challenge traditional development norms to improve performance in quality, predictability, flow, and velocity.
  • Assist software development teams in implementing the Scrum framework.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Functional and technical expertise in at least one analytics or business intelligence application or product.
  • Extensive project management experience, along with strong fundamentals in advanced analytics, data integration, and visualization.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Applications (e.g., Azure, Data Bricks).
  • Proficient in software development and system administration.
  • Significant experience in resource allocation and management.
  • Extensive experience in leading, guiding, and coaching professional staff.
  • Significant experience leading agile development teams and facilitating team meetings in an Agile environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of development or operations framework methodologies, including Agile principles.
  • Advanced database and presentation software skills.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective in building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with partner leadership.

Desired Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • CSM and/or PMI-ACP certification.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Banking/Finance/Investments, familiar with terminology, concepts, and business processes and systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
