Key Responsibilities

As a Plastics Setup Technician at MacLean-Fogg, you will be responsible for performing work associated with both set-up and basic plastic processing functions. This includes:

  • Performing basic troubleshooting of equipment/tooling and making adjustments
  • Testing and inspecting machines to determine safe and efficient operation
  • Cleaning and maintaining hoppers, loaders, grinders, and other secondary equipment
  • Operating powered industrial equipment as needed
  • Completing all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Following all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures
  • Performing work under general supervision
  • Handling basic issues and problems and referring more complex issues to higher-level staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 0 to 2 years of experience, including experience driving powered industrial equipment
  • Powered industrial equipment certification preferred
