About the Role
The Maintenance Operations Coordinator is tasked with supporting the managerial oversight of the Maintenance team for all occupied properties within the assigned portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Effective Communication**: Engage clearly and compassionately with both internal team members and residents.
2. **Customer Service Excellence**: Deliver outstanding service during interactions with residents.
3. **Training and Quality Control**: Serve as a resource for training and quality assurance, ensuring optimal workflow for all maintenance personnel.
4. **Integrity and Support**: Uphold the highest standards of integrity and support for Tricon's core values.

5. **Daily Management**: Oversee the daily activities of Maintenance Technicians, including attendance management, time sheet reviews, inventory management for vehicles, and maintenance of company vehicles.
6. **Quality Oversight**: Maintain oversight of all work performed by in-house technicians to ensure quality, budget adherence, and timely completion.
7. **Health and Safety**: Respond urgently and collaborate with legal, management, and residents to address any health and safety concerns promptly.

8. **Proactive Solutions**: Anticipate potential issues and recommend solutions to leadership regarding scheduling conflicts or delays.
9. **Team Meetings**: Conduct weekly meetings to provide updates on projects and communicate any changes.
10. **Mentorship**: Inspire and mentor team members through clear expectations and proactive communication.

Qualifications
- Proficient in project management software.
- Strong ownership of work products with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage time efficiently.
- Adaptability to change and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel for basic accounting tasks.

- Prior experience in maintenance leadership is essential.
- Ability to plan and schedule work activities effectively while anticipating issues.
- Proven track record of utilizing technology effectively.

Physical Demands
The physical requirements for this role include frequent sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
