Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society. As an LPN, you will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to residents of all ages, including administering medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Conduct assessments of residents and develop care plans to meet their physical and psychosocial needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents.
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary needs.
  • Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocates on prevention and treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement self-care programs for residents.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.
