Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and replace industrial equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and Alphia's quality policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production and quality assurance, to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Basic to advanced level of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, experience with PLC-based controls, and knowledge of industrial equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, work at heights, and perform other physically demanding tasks.
- Communication: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and follow work instructions in English.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs: Experience with automation and instrumentation systems.
- Welding Skills: Proficiency in welding and metal fabrication.
- Manufacturing Experience: Experience working with manufacturing equipment, including driers, fluid pumps, conveyors, and ovens.
- Shift Work: 12-hour shifts, 4-5 days per week, with a customer service orientation to plant operations.
- Background Screening: Pre-employment background and drug screening required.
- Food Safety: Knowledge of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices, including the use of safety equipment.
