About the Role

Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and skilled School Psychologist to join our team in the Anderson, SC area. As a School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the mental health and academic success of middle and high school students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify areas of strength and weakness.
  • Provide Counseling and Intervention Services: Offer counseling and therapeutic interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges, promoting student well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborate with School Staff: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans, ensuring a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Develop and Deliver Programs: Design and deliver programs and workshops focused on mental health, social skills, and academic performance, promoting student growth and development.
  • Crisis Intervention and Support: Provide guidance on managing student behavioral issues and support crisis intervention efforts, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Expertise: Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding student mental health services, maintaining the highest standards of care and support.
Qualifications
  • Valid School Psychologist License: Possess a valid and current School Psychologist license, ensuring expertise in the field.
  • Advanced Degree in School Psychology: Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in the field.
  • Experience Working with Middle and High School Students: Preferably, have experience working with middle and high school students, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with school staff and students.
  • Ability to Work Effectively as Part of a Team: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
