We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at El Monte Sagrado. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Work under the direction of our Executive Chef or Sous Chef to prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude, ensuring excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Comply with all nutrition and sanitation regulations, as well as safety standards, at all times.
• Prepare food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
• Cook menu items in collaboration with other kitchen team members, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

• Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification is required.
• Ability to work on your feet in a humid kitchen environment for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, push, reach for, and carry 30+ pounds frequently.
• Excellent verbal communication and multitasking skills are essential.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in high-volume or fine dining cook environments.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience/training is required.
