Job Summary
The Physical Therapist Lead will be responsible for leading a team of physical therapists in providing coordinated and comprehensive patient care. This includes assessing patient needs, developing treatment plans, and supervising the work of support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to physical therapy staff, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient, taking into account their medical history, physical abilities, and goals.
- Supervise the work of support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, to ensure that they are providing high-quality care and adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date on the latest physical therapy techniques and best practices.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Current licensure in the state of West Virginia or applicable state where services will be performed.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in physical therapy, with a strong background in leadership and management.
