Ramin Tayami MD Inc is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Optician to provide exceptional customer service and perform various duties in the optical department.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of dispensing optician experience and be proficient in NextGen software. ABO/NCLE certification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for patients
  • Perform billing efforts for insurance plans and manage product inventory
  • Learn and utilize NextGen Optical Management software for sales, billing, and inventory tasks
  • Assist with marketing plans and provide Saturday coverage in the Optical Department as needed

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of vision insurance (EYEMED, VSP, MES & Spectera) and excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with management or leadership skills a plus

Compensation details: 24-32 Hourly Wage
