Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans to prepare students for the nursing profession.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional quality and student outcomes.
  • Identify and support students who require additional assistance to ensure their success.
Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation, or a Doctorate preferred.
  • A graduate degree in a field other than nursing coupled with a Bachelor's degree in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation and evidence that graduate degree is in a field relevant to the area of responsibility.
  • A Bachelor's degree in nursing with a written plan, to be submitted to the Board of Nursing, demonstrating ongoing progression in obtaining a graduate degree in nursing from a program with national nursing accreditation.
  • A minimum of 4 years of clinical experience, including 1 year of documented experience in the area of instruction for Clinical Instructors, or at least 2 years of professional nursing clinical experience for Theory Instructors.
  • An active and unencumbered license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of employment.
  • Meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
