Join Our Team as a Litigation Attorney

We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team at Carolina Legal Associates in the Berkley County area. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for handling personal injury cases, trucking accidents, and worker's compensation cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Filing Litigation Documents: Prepare and file pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
  • Client Guidance: Provide guidance to clients throughout the case process.
  • Expert Witness Interaction: Interact with expert witnesses, including conferences, drafting of expert reports, and affidavits.
  • Court Appearances: Attend and prepare for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
  • Workers' Compensation Cases: Handle all aspects of workers' compensation cases from initial client intake to resolution.
Requirements:
  • JD and SC Bar Membership: Possess a JD from an accredited law school and be a member of the SC Bar in good standing.
  • Experience and Skills: Have 1-3 years of experience practicing as an attorney with knowledge of and experience in litigation and civil procedure.
  • Strong Legal Writing Skills: Possess strong legal writing skills, including experience in drafting briefs and other legal documents.
  • Communication and Research Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong research, organizational, and analytical skills.
