**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Water Permitting and Compliance Specialist to join our growing Environmental Health and Safety team in Madison, WI or varied locations within the United States. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and manage teams to deliver services that meet those needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for networking with clients to identify and define projects, developing and negotiating proposals, building teams of technical staff and sub-consultants to execute work, maintaining quality and risk management processes to keep work on track, and delivering according to scope, schedule, and budget.

**Responsibilities & Tasks**

  • Preparation of new, renewal, and amendment permit applications for industrial facilities.
  • Attend contested public hearings regarding water permits on behalf of clients.
  • Negotiate permit conditions and effluent limitations with regulatory agencies.
  • Use creative strategies to locate appropriate water sources and support clients in acquiring water.

**Estimated Salary:** $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
