Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or Neonatal Physician Assistant (PA)
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking a dedicated neonatal nurse practitioner or neonatal physician assistant to become part of our esteemed Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including the clinical oversight of high-risk neonates and infants, educational initiatives, administrative tasks, consulting, and the initiation and execution of research projects.
The neonatal nurse practitioner or PA collaborates closely with medical professionals, nursing staff, and support services to deliver family-centered care. Continuous professional development and active participation in ongoing education are essential components of this role.
Work Schedule:
Flexible 10-hour day shifts and 16-hour night shifts on a rotating basis.

Qualifications:
- Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies
- Current Florida State Licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications (Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) may substitute for PALS if NNP)
- National Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or PA
- Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience as an NNP or PA; or NICU RN experience for new graduates.
