Job Description

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist prepares and operates equipment for cardiovascular procedures while ensuring patient safety and a sterile environment. Responsibilities include preparing equipment, identifying and assessing patient condition, establishing and maintaining a sterile environment, and serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.

Requirements

  • Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology
  • Eligibility for or current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
