About Us: Mitsui is a leading energy trading company seeking a Market Analyst Intern to join our team.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist our market analysis and reporting team. The successful candidate will gain a good understanding of the US energy trading industry through on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in market analysis and reporting, including daily market reports, supply/demand analysis, and creating analysis tools.
  • Attend industrial conferences as required.
  • Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned.
  • Support scheduling/operation as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills (especially, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be flexible and have a can-do attitude.
  • Excellent time-management and organization skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Must be available for 12 weeks.

Education Requirements:

  • Preferably pursuing a bachelor's degree in mathematics or finance & accounting.
  • Must have minimum of 3.0 GPA.
  • Junior and senior students only.
