Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Communicate effectively with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assess and prepare the operating room for each procedure, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a multistate compact status.
  • One year of work experience in the Operating Room, preferably.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification (or) obtained within 6 months after hire date.
