Core Responsibilities:

We are looking for a proficient HVAC Mechanic to join our team. The main objective of this role is to effectively maintain, repair, and operate heating, cooling, and boiler systems, along with auxiliary equipment. This position also entails performing electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks within the designated service area.

Key Duties Include:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Manage plumbing systems and related fixtures, including cutting, threading, and assembling pipes; connecting valves; and testing installations.
  • Electrical Work: Conduct journey-level tasks on secondary electrical systems, including wiring, electrical panels, and fixtures.
  • Control Systems: Troubleshoot and repair control system issues, adjusting temperature controls and performing preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
  • Boiler Maintenance: Diagnose and repair various boiler systems and related equipment, ensuring optimal operation.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a quarterly on-call program.
  • Be available for overtime and alternate shifts as needed.
  • Report to work during adverse weather conditions as essential personnel.
Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with demonstrated competencies in the field. Some roles may necessitate specific licenses or certifications.

Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in pneumatic and DDC control systems.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CFC Universal Certification.
Licensure:
  • A valid North Carolina driver's license is required within 60 days of hire.
Employment Type:

Full-time, 12-month recurring position.
