Join a prestigious Family Medicine Residency program in a leading healthcare institution.

This program, which has been operational since 1972 and holds ACGME accreditation, is in search of a board-certified Family Medicine physician to take on a full-time faculty role. The residency is situated in a community that greatly benefits from medical education, and faculty members will play a crucial role in supervising residents in both outpatient and inpatient environments. Responsibilities will also include didactic instruction, curriculum enhancement, and maintaining an active clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision of residents in various clinical settings
  • Engagement in didactic teaching and curriculum development
  • Active participation in outpatient clinical practice

This position offers an opportunity to be a mentor and role model for aspiring family medicine physicians, exemplifying compassion, commitment to educational excellence, professionalism, and a passion for lifelong learning. While training in sports medicine, POCUS, or addiction medicine is preferred, it is not a mandatory requirement.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Board certified or board eligible MD/DO
  • Possess or be eligible for an active medical license in Georgia
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

About the Medical Group:

This medical group is part of a nearly 1000-bed health system, featuring a 637-bed level one trauma center, a dedicated Children's Hospital, a Rehabilitation Hospital, and various facilities. The group consists of over 200 clinicians providing a wide range of medical services across multiple adult and pediatric specialties.
