Compensation:
A sign-on bonus of $4,000 is available, with $2,000 disbursed in the first two years of employment for eligible candidates.
Starting Date:

New Teacher Orientation:
Orientation for new educators will be organized prior to the start of the academic year.
Experience:
The district recognizes up to 20 years of verified full-time teaching experience for salary placement.
Work Schedule:
182 contracted work days, adjusted based on the start date.

Salary:
The minimum annual salary is $59,059, with a maximum of $86,492, depending on educational qualifications and relevant experience.
Qualifications and Expectations:
  1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  2. Valid Colorado teaching license with endorsement in Special Education Generalist or Specialist, or Special Education Severe Needs. Candidates without the required endorsement but enrolled in an approved program may submit their acceptance letter.
  3. Successful completion of the PRAXIS Elementary Education exam (Exam #5001 or #5018).
