Exercise Physiologist

About the Opportunity:

This position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and passionate clinical exercise physiologist to join our team at Carilion Clinic. As an Exercise Physiologist - Clinical Expert, you will play a vital role in helping us transform healthcare through evidence-based exercise interventions. The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in exercise science or a related field and at least 2 years of recent experience as a clinical exercise physiologist. AHA BLS-HCP certification is required, and personal training certification or certified exercise physiologist status from a nationally recognized organization such as ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NSCA, or Cooper Institute is also required. In this role, you will be responsible for developing individualized exercise prescriptions for clients with complex medical conditions, conducting functional assessments, and leading group exercise programs.
