Analytical Chemist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist II to join our team in Billerica, MA. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting QA testing and providing analytical support to production of our Micro-contamination control and membrane products as well as for R&D development.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing.
- Participate in conversations around non-routine testing and conduct testing once method is established.
- Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
- Prepare samples for analysis and load instrumentation.
- Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Perform preventative maintenance and trouble-shoot equipment.
- Remove and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures.
- Handle requests appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of relative work experience.
- Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.
- Able to work independently and follow established priorities.
- Ability to work 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday,10pm-6:30am.
- Established experience running analytical instrumentation.
- ICPMS experience.
- Experience within an ISO 9000 work environment.
- Cleanroom experience.
