Job Title: Analytical Chemist II

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist II to join our team in Billerica, MA. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting QA testing and providing analytical support to production of our Micro-contamination control and membrane products as well as for R&D development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine QA product testing of filtration and membrane products from manufacturing.
  • Participate in conversations around non-routine testing and conduct testing once method is established.
  • Follow and document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
  • Prepare samples for analysis and load instrumentation.
  • Analyze and interpret test data, maintain documentation of test operation and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and trouble-shoot equipment.
  • Remove and dispose of waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures.
  • Handle requests appropriately and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relative work experience.
  • Strong scientific approach and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment.
  • Able to work independently and follow established priorities.
  • Ability to work 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday,10pm-6:30am.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Established experience running analytical instrumentation.
  • ICPMS experience.
  • Experience within an ISO 9000 work environment.
  • Cleanroom experience.
