Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Hannaford Supermarkets, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for filling prescriptions, assisting customers, and performing clerical functions to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside pharmacists to assist with filling and processing prescriptions, while learning from and leaning on their expert knowledge and experience.
  • Support the pharmacy by performing clerical functions such as filling, organizing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Adapt to changing situations and priorities in a retail environment, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new tasks and technical requirements.

  • Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
  • High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Must meet minimum age and educational requirements.
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
