Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Nursing Review Specialist for a contract opportunity with one of our esteemed clients.

Title: Nursing Review Specialist

Location: Remote (must be local)

Duration: 10+ Months

Role Type: W2 contract engagement

*This position allows for remote work, though occasional travel to the office may be necessary.

Engagement Overview

The Nursing Review Specialist will be responsible for evaluating post-acute precertification, approving admissions, conducting telephone triage, and interpreting benefits. The role may involve data entry or referencing information via a computer. Additional related skills may be required to fulfill this position.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with a valid Michigan driver's license.
  • Associate Degree or nursing diploma is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of patient care experience.
  • Experience in triage, case management, or utilization review is preferred.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology is essential.
  • Knowledge of InterQual is advantageous.
  • Availability for some weekends and corporate holidays. On-call duties may be required, potentially leading to overtime.
