Advanced Practice Provider for General Surgery

About the Role
Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our General Surgery team in Wilmington, Delaware. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities:
- Make hospital rounds with physicians and evaluate patients
- Pre-operatively assess patients, perform history and physicals, and write admitting/pre-op/post-op orders
- Evaluate and manage patients, including writing procedures as deemed necessary for patient care
- Provide coordination of assigned division specialty programs
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program
- Current certification by the National Commission of Certification of Physicians' Assistants or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification
- Clear and active license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Delaware or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner licensure
What We Offer
Nemours Children's Health offers a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
