We are seeking a qualified and board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our esteemed healthcare facility. This is a full-time, permanent role located in a vibrant community, offering a unique opportunity to practice in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality emergency medical care in a 14-bed, level IV trauma center.
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and general surgeons to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Engage with a multi-specialty team, including orthopedics, cardiology, oncology, urology, pulmonary, ENT, and ophthalmology specialists.
- Manage an average patient volume of 21,000 annually, ensuring efficient and effective treatment.
Work Schedule:
- Enjoy a balanced work-life with 12 shifts of 12 hours each month.
- No on-call responsibilities, allowing for a predictable schedule.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate with a generous sign-on bonus.
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of $4,500 per year.
- Comprehensive malpractice coverage, including paid tail coverage and participation in the state patient compensation fund.
