Job Summary

LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team in Tucson, Arizona. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex avionics systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft avionics and electrical systems
  • Modify and service aircraft avionics and electrical equipment
  • Comply with safety regulations and procedures
  • Participate in 5-S activities to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in avionics repair and maintenance
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic set of hand tools and ability to inventory and control tools
  • Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required
  • Ability to work unscheduled overtime and holidays
  • Ability to work in seasonal and inclement weather
  • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable
  • Certification, P Certification, or A&P Certificate (preferred)
  • GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate (preferred)
  • Experience on corporate jets (preferred)
  • Basic PC skills
