Responsibilities- Assess and Evaluate Patient Needs
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to assess patient problems and needs, establishing a plan of care that meets the individual's unique requirements.
Implement Interventions and Evaluate ProgressAs a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for implementing interventions and evaluating patient progress, making adjustments to the care plan as needed.
Manage High-Risk PregnanciesOur OB/GYN department specializes in managing high-risk pregnancies, and we are seeking a nurse who is comfortable with all aspects of delivery and aftercare.
Collaborate with Healthcare TeamYou will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other support staff, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements- 2 Years of Current OB/L&D Experience
Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in OB/L&D, with a strong background in high-risk pregnancy management.
Post-Partum and Mother/Baby ExperienceYou will have experience working with post-partum patients and their newborns, providing care and support during this critical period.
Nursery ExperienceOur ideal candidate will have experience working in a nursery setting, providing care and support to newborns and their families.
Apgar/Routine Testing ExperienceYou will have experience with Apgar scoring and routine testing, including vital signs and other assessments.
AWHONN and STABLE CertificationWhile not required, certification in AWHONN and STABLE is strongly preferred.
Lactation ExperienceOur ideal candidate will have experience supporting breastfeeding mothers and their newborns.
BSN and Previous Travel ExperienceA BSN degree and previous travel experience are highly preferred.
Additional Requirements- Availability for Holidays
You must be available to work during both Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, as needed.
Non-Billable OrientationOur non-billable orientation is 8 hours, and you will be required to complete this before starting your assignment.
