About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in the transportation market. You should have a strong understanding of relevant codes and standards, including AASHTO, IDOT, ISTHA, and AREMA. Your expertise in bridge and roadway structures, including superstructure and substructure, retaining walls, beams, columns/piers, connection and foundation systems, will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the structural design engineering team and ensure the delivery of high-quality projects
  • Develop and implement structural design engineering strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in the transportation market
  • Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards
  • Expertise in bridge and roadway structures
  • Leadership and management skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in business and engineering applications, including Microsoft Office, Microstation, and/or AutoCAD
