Customer Service Merchandiser

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Customer Service Merchandiser to join our team at G & J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers. As a key member of our sales and merchandising team, you will be responsible for selling, ordering, and merchandising our products in large format accounts to established standards, driving company sales and profits.
Key Responsibilities- Maximize sales and distribution of our products by working with retailers to identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability through proper use of Point of Sale materials, communication of price/value, and securing placement of new and incremental equipment and displays.
- Develop, build, and maintain relationships with Store Management at the retailer location to sell and accurately order the appropriate level of product for each location.
- Stock, rotate, and display all products to established standards, including coolers, vendors, and other equipment.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and organized backroom at retailer locations according to established standards.
- Ensure proper POS items are set up and displayed according to established standards, including clings, base wrap, pole signs, and banners.
- Responsible for cleaning all locations at which our products are displayed, including coolers, vendors, racks, and shelving.
- Communicate with retailers and Pepsi management team on issues regarding pricing, products, programs, and problems that arise in the store.
- Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures, including OSHA and safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, Federal/State/Local laws, and wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Complete daily reports, time off requests, and other required paperwork according to established standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information, promotions, pricing, customer information, and other sensitive and confidential information.
- Work assigned schedule, exhibit regular and predictable attendance, and work overtime as required to meet workload demands.
- High School or GED or equivalent degree required; 2 Year/Associate Degree or equivalent degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of sales experience in sales management, consumer product line.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; previous VIP experience preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver's License; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.
- Ability to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed.
