Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Therapist to join our team in Brick. As a Developmental Therapist, you will work one-to-one with children with autism, providing DIRFloortime therapy sessions in the home or at school. You will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment, using positive and affective approaches to promote meaningful change.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of an AFT or QHP to provide DIRFloortime therapy sessions to children with autism.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including AFTs and QHPs, to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of new programs and services, working closely with the Kinder Growth team to identify areas for growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, counseling, or psychology.
  • 1 year of experience working with children with autism or in a related field.
  • Valid form of ID and ability to pass Federal and State background checks.
  • Reliable transportation and a working device to take session data and video sessions.
  • Ability to play on the floor and work in a fast-paced environment.
