Key Responsibilities- Develop and administer physical therapy evaluations and treatment plans for patients, utilizing a patient-centered approach to restore function and prevent disability.
- Select and administer appropriate physical therapy techniques and therapies, providing clear and concise patient education and guidance.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and discharge planning.
- Provide accurate and timely documentation of patient care, adhering to departmental standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise and mentor paraprofessionals and support personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in quality management initiatives, contributing to the improvement of patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current Physical Therapy License, Illinois Department of Professional Regulations.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy (if graduate before 2002) or Master of Science or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (if graduate after 2002).
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association certification.
- Ability to lift/carry weight of up to 50 pounds and push/pull with 50 pounds of force.
The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.
