Job Overview

Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks such as washing and folding linens. The ideal candidate will possess experience with commercial laundry equipment and be capable of lifting weights between 20-40 pounds consistently. This role also involves maintaining cleanliness in public spaces, ensuring that surfaces are dusted, trash is collected, and floors are swept and mopped.

Compensation:

$16 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load laundry into washing machines and adhere to the manufacturer's guidelines for cleaning agents.
  • Oversee all laundry machinery and report any maintenance needs to the facilities manager.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and inform the general manager of any shortages.
  • Dry linens and garments following the manufacturer's instructions after each wash cycle.
  • Examine all linens for stains and apply appropriate cleaning methods to remove them.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds consistently.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or similar role.
  • Strong work ethic with excellent organizational, time management, and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning methods and products.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is preferred.
