Overview

University Radiology, a leading provider of subspecialty radiology and teleradiology services in NJ, is comprised of over 180 Board Certified radiologists with advanced U.S.-based training and expertise in all modalities and all subspecialty areas. With a legacy of more than 60 years, we staff, manage and provide preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for hospitals, imaging centers and other medical facilities, and serve as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Software Support Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide support to radiologists, hospitals and URG staff for applications, systems and access issues. This position requires strong technical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify, research and resolve technical problems related to imaging data transfer from multiple hospitals and URG sites to the PACS system
  • Respond to telephone, email and online requests from radiologists, hospitals and URG staff
  • Document, track and monitor problems using multiple applicable systems and tools
  • Coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve issues
  • Enter exam orders in the RIS system
  • Oversee the transfer of imaging data from hospitals and URG sites to the PACS system
  • Communicate with and coordinate care among URG, Hospitals and Radiologists in a timely fashion
