Keene State College invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach multiple courses in the Anthropology Program. The position is part-time and non-benefited.
Estimated Salary Range:$60,000-$80,000 per year, based on education level and experience.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for teaching ISANTH-110 Cultural Anthropology and ISANTH-111 Archaeology and Biological Anthropology. The courses are designed to introduce students to anthropological knowledge and understanding of human cultures and societies.
Key Responsibilities- Teach multiple courses in the Anthropology Program.
- Develop and implement course materials and assessments.
- Engage with students through office hours and provide feedback on assignments.
We seek a qualified individual who has a strong background in anthropology and excellent teaching skills. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. or ABD in Anthropology, as well as at least 2 years of undergraduate teaching experience.
Preferred QualificationsPrior teaching experience in anthropology, a multicultural perspective, or the ability to speak a second language are highly desirable.
