Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Needs Distance Educator to join our team. As a Special Needs Distance Educator, you will play a critical role in delivering specialized online instruction to students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement virtual Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans to meet the unique needs of students.
- Collaborate with families, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.
- Adapt digital curriculum materials to meet the individual needs of students and monitor their progress using online platforms.
- Utilize online teaching methods and educational technology to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's degree preferred)
- West Virginia teaching certification in Special Education
- Minimum of 2 years of special education teaching experience
- Proficiency in online teaching methods and educational technology
