Job Title: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at CaroMont Regional Medical Center Belmont. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our Level I Nursery.

Job Summary:

The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries, and stabilizing and managing newborns requiring higher-level care. You will work in conjunction with a team of 4 NNPs and a sister Level III NICU team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily rounds on newborns and attend deliveries as requested
  • Stabilize, manage, and facilitate transport of newborns requiring higher-level care to nearby NICUs
  • Participate in a team of 4 NNPs working in conjunction with a sister Level III NICU team
  • Opportunities may exist for supplemental PRN shifts in a nearby Level III NICU, though not required for this position
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing, NNP
  • Board Certified NNP (Neonatal Nurse Practitioner)
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
  • North Carolina license or willingness to obtain
