We're looking for a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Medical Assistant to join our team at HealthPort. In this role, you'll be responsible for assisting providers with office visits and providing skilled nursing services as scheduled. Our ideal candidate will have a Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) or Certified Medical Assistant certification, two years of experience working with mentally ill adults, and highly developed organizational and communication skills.
Job OverviewThe Primary Care Medical Assistant will play a vital role in patient quality care, working closely with our healthcare team to provide high-quality services. Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and treatments using the electronic medical records (EMR).
- Assist with office visits, including escorting patients to exam rooms and interviewing patients to gather information.
- Measure vital signs, such as weight, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and document all information in the patient's EMR.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.
- A competitive salary of $45,000 - $52,000 per year.
