Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Food Safety and Quality team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety in our products.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA and USDA regulations.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities to the Food Safety and Quality team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Performance Management: Manage the performance of the Food Safety and Quality team, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues.
  • Special Projects: Lead special projects as assigned by the Corporate FSQA Manager or Director, including the development and implementation of new quality assurance programs and processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as food science, microbiology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality assurance or regulatory compliance role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
