Job Description

We are seeking a Livestock Courier Driver to join our team at George's. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting chicks from the hatchery to farms across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including timesheets and trip reports.
  • Monitor trailer conditions to ensure chick well-being.
  • Unload chicks in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Comply with all relevant regulations, including those related to biosecurity and animal welfare.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class A CDL license.
  • A valid medical certificate from an examiner on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.
  • At least 2 years of experience driving a representative vehicle.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
