Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job Summary:

  • Provide high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, set realistic goals, and track progress to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' physical, emotional, or cognitive needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' strengths, weaknesses, and goals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote independence and self-advocacy.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes to inform treatment decisions and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
  • 1-3 years of experience in rehabilitation settings, preferably in a travel or per-diem capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve patient-centered outcomes.
